DUBAI – Hesham Al Qassim, CEO of Wasl, has highlighted how the group’s projects reflect the Dubai-it philosophy of turning ambitious visions into tangible achievements that strengthen the city’s position as a global model for development and urban progress.

The initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, focuses on transforming ideas into impactful outcomes through execution, speed and innovation.

Al Qassim said Dubai-it represents a strategic approach built around excellence in delivery and creating visible results, enabling bold concepts to become integrated developments that contribute to Dubai’s continued growth.

Urban impact

He explained that Wasl’s projects translate this philosophy by creating integrated communities that reflect the principles of exceptional achievement and sustainable development. The approach has supported Dubai’s evolution as a global benchmark for urban progress while opening new opportunities and enhancing the quality of life for residents and communities.

Al Qassim added that Wasl remains committed to developing projects aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, with a focus on creating people-centred ecosystems. This includes optimising industrial and commercial spaces, expanding community facilities, developing world-class parks and open areas, and providing affordable housing solutions for different segments of society.

The projects also aim to preserve the unique urban and cultural identity of established areas while supporting the city’s future growth through carefully planned developments.

Vision delivered

Al Qassim emphasised that Dubai’s strength comes from its ability to transform strategies into real-world projects with efficiency and speed, reflecting the core objectives of the Dubai-it initiative and its focus on building a culture of achievement.

“Wasl projects follow this approach, transforming ideas into vibrant communities that underscore Dubai’s status as a global leader in innovation, sustainability and quality of life,” he said.
